Damn then dumbing down the warrior (Former Warrior Repersenting ^.~) It too bad people are going to be penalized for protesting, whatever happened to the freedom of speach, or for that matter, the freedom to be a Gnome Warrior and walk to Stormwind! ^.^

A lot of WoW players are annoyed about the Warrior changes that are expected with the Burning Crusade expansion, but someone (Myxilydian of Burning Blade, according to WoW Insider)decided to start an ingame protest. He asked everyone who's not so pleased about the Warrior changes to create a level 1 Gnome Warrior on the Thunderlord server, meet up and then march naked from Ironforge to the gates of Stormwind. I've done some beer runs on the PvP servers, and I've spent more time than I'd like to admit emote flirting. I really like semi-character events, and the naked gnome march is goofy for a good cause. But Blizzard says that“Anyone caught participating in this event or any event with the sole purpose of disrupting the game play for others will be punished", probably fearing that all those disgruntled players will crash the server. But personally, I think it's a great idea. If only naked gnomes could solve all the world's problems... Meg's blog | login or register to post comments

Tch, thats a shame about the
Tch, thats a shame about the "punishment" thing. I would have loved to see them try to stop the protest while its happening, and watch all those little gnomes make a run for it. That would have been fun to watch. But I dont care about the changes theyre making since a) I have decided to renounce mmo's altogether (well, unless something really good comes out) and b) when I did play WoW, I was a priest, so I wouldnt have given a damn anyway.
Now I just get a little bitter when WoW is mentioned, since its the "in" thing at the moment. But Im getting starved for competition at the moment, so maybe Ill renew my live subscription, and start "socialising" again.
