Missing MMO Gamer’s Family Turns to Jack Thompson

Stories of people who get addicted to MMORPGs and then take drastic measures such as taking their life because of events that happen in the game are always sad affairs, but this story gets worse for different reasons. After a 20-year-old went missing (parents think because of MMORPG events) they have teamed up with Jack Thompson to help find him. Why is this bad? With the way Jack Thompson has acted in the past, do you think he is doing this out of the kindness of his own heart? Do you think he cares more about finding that boy than promoting himself and his "cause"?

According to a report on KARE-11 News in Minnesota, a 20-year-old MMO player by the name of Jacob Prybl (left) went missing more than a week ago.

His parents have now expressed concerns that his disappearance may be related to his play of an unspecified online game.

Debbie Prybl said of her son:

He was eating less. He was so consumed by the computer he couldn’t get off to eat.
