LOVEFiLM.com, Europe's leading online DVD rental service, is breaking new ground by entering into the computer games market and launching an online games rental service.

As from Thursday 25th August 2005, LOVEFiLM will be the first online DVD rental service to offer console games alongside DVDs. LOVEFiLM will launch with the top PlayStation 2 chart titles which will run alongside the current DVD rental service using the same principles - no late fees, no due back dates and free postage for the return of all games.

Not only is games rental a natural and logical extension for LOVEFiLM, it is a also a response to the needs of its members - a survey of over 120,000 LOVEFiLM members revealed that 50% would like to be able to rent games alongside their DVDs.

In 2004, LOVEFiLM grew an incredible 530% and this brand extension into games rental looks set to enhance this growth even further.
