Another week, another story about the Xbox 360's fault system. Constant Red Ring of Death stories. An expansion of the system warranty. And now today's story is about a class action lawsuit alleging the system scratches game discs. Oh Microsoft, will the system problems never be an issue?

The rollercoaster that has been the week after E3 continues, as InformationWeek reports Christine Moskowitz and Dan Wood have filed a class action lawsuit at the U.S. District Court for Southern California alleging the Xbox 360 has series technical issues that result in the unnecessary scratching of game discs at no fault from the user.
The stories in the lawsuit aren't anything new - both Moskowitz and Wood purchased Xbox 360s and found themselves with scratched discs. "Microsoft improperly and/or negligently manufactured the Xbox 360 console in a manner that causes the expensive game discs ... to be scratched, rendering the games unusable," read the lawsuit.
