I'm actually really looking forward to E3. I went to the one last year, and though it was an event, it was a bit too hectic and overcrowded. This year I went to my first GDC, a much more relaxed and less crowded affair, and it was a much better event overall. With the reduction of E3 and the invite only system in place, I'm hoping E3 will be like GDC this year. However, the Gamecock people think the change is a sign of doom for the event, and so they are holding their own alternate event, as well as a funeral for E3. I say good, signal the end of the "old" E3, because if this E3 turns out like I think it will, I'll much prefer this year's than last.
