Over at Tales of the Rampant Coyote (the Rampant Games blog), they have an interview with Amanda Fitch, owner of Amaranth Games and the creator of the hit indie RPG, "Aveyond."

Aveyond was originally designed for more of a hardcore, old-school-SNES-style-RPG fan audience, and achieved some solid success there. But lately it has become a big success in the casual game market. It spent several weeks on the top ten lists of several casual portals, spots normally occupied almost exclusively by match-three puzzle-style games.
