When Manhunt 2, a very mainstream game by a very mainstream company, received the dreaded AO rating many wondered about what it would do for the industry. One of the biggest fears about it receiving the AO rating was going to be that no stores would sell it...but would that really have been the case? Did Manhunt 2 initially getting an AO rating change how some retailers view AO material?

As the recent Manhunt 2 controversy swirled, common wisdom held that major retailers wouldn’t carry a game rated Adults Only. But, could it be that the retail side of the game biz is reviewing its position on AO?
