You see, who says the consumer doesn't hold any power? Sure, the promise of a Limited Edition for Bioshock could've been a ruse from the beginning, and if the next step in the voting is a sign of anything, fans should be getting exactly what they want when they pay for it. So what would I vote for? I want a Bioshock LE with all of the stuff on their poll, but if I can only pick one? I want the Big Daddy figure!

BioShock's community manager Elizabeth Tobey announced yesterday that if an online petition requesting a BioShock Limited Edition could reach more than 5,000 signatures, she could convince publisher 2K Games to produce one. The Internet pulled together and pushed the petition nearly past 18,000 people yelling "hell yeah" simultaneously.

And Elizabeth lived up to her promise, as a Limited Edition will be produced for BioShock, and now the debate's over what should be included. Continuing to bridge the gap between gamers and developers, everybody gets to vote on what will be in there, too.
