'EVE Online' Scandal Update

Who wouldn't love an "in" over at the company who made your favorite MMORPG? I mean, if you were struggling to get something, and you knew someone working for the company who could get it to you rather easily, wouldn't you try to hit up your buddy for a favor? Unless of course you're totally against cheating in games.

Earlier this week the message boards of CCP's space based MMORPG EVE Online were filled with accusations of game developers giving certain in-game groups avantages. At the time an investigation was promised by CCP. Today this developer's blog post admits that the writer "CCP t20" did indeed offer blueprints for in-game items to players that went against the game rules. The developer states that he acted alone with none of the other developers knowing about his actions. The blueprints have been returned to CCP. Another blog entry from CCP's CEO Hilmar Veigar which goes into more detail on the issues with Veigar hoping that the issues have now been put to rest.
