Emotion Is Key To Successful Games, Says VFX Boss

Remember the last time you played a game and the music was so poignant it brought a tear to your eye? What about the last time you read the text of a RPG and your heart sank for the characters? What about the last time a character looked at you and your heart melt? Chances are at least one of those has happened to every reader out there, and one man thinks that is the key to a quality game.

"A piece of music that touches you emotionally, you can download it. Movies touch you when you go and see them. Whatever happens going forward in entertainment, the only thing that is going to work to create great games, films and TV programs is emotion," he said.
