I've been having a bad (and very expensive) run of luck with video games lately. I've been enjoying Oblivion, but have been trying to switch off to other games to keep from getting bored with it. I tried Guild Wars but became very disappointed with it for a number of reasons, mainly I just got tired of playing against a "stacked deck". Looking around for something else, I settled on Black and White 2, read a few things about it in some of the gaming mags. What a rip! besides not being able to skip by all the developer logo's and the tutorial, (which by the way is way way too long)the game is overly complicated, means well but tries to accomplish too much. A couple of years ago I bought a little game called Zeus, same objectives without all the complications and controls. Lately, because of all these games that sound good but are big duds, I'm becoming very cynical about PC games that are out there.
