WHAT: It’s no secret that kids, both boys and girls, are playing video games in increased numbers. As the game systems and games become more complex, many mothers are finding themselves left outside of the gamer circle, and in the process, losing hours of time each day that they could be spending time with their kids. To help remedy this, AOL Games' GameDaily and ALL YOU magazine are partnering to host a Gamer Boot Camp for moms, in which Editor Libe Goad of GameDaily will host a two hour Gamer workshop geared specifically to local area moms with little to no video gaming experience. During the course of the bootcamp, Libe will teach the moms the ins and outs of the Nintendo Wii, XBox 360, and Playstation 3, and then referee a game challenge where the winning mom will take home a prize. WHEN: Wednesday, July 25 (10am-12pm) WHERE: AOL CONTACT: Kurt Patat (212/652-6323)
