Spike TV 'Video Game Awards 2005' Honors Activision's Call of Duty 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and True Crime: New York City. Call of Duty 2 earned "Best Military Game," Tony Hawk's American Wasteland was named "Best Individual Sports Game" and True Crime: New York City's Traci Lords and Christopher Walken were honored in the "Best Supporting Female Performance" and "Best Supporting Male Performance" categories for their roles in the gritty urban drama. "We're thrilled that Call of Duty 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and True Crime: New York City were honored with VGAs," said Robin Kaminsky, Head of Global Brand Management. "The development teams at Infinity Ward, Neversoft and Luxoflux strive to deliver innovative and entertaining gameplay experiences to fans and this acknowledgement is a testament to their hard work." The third annual Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005," hosted by Samuel L. Jackson will premiere on Spike TV on Saturday, December 10 from 9:00-11:00 PM ET/PT.
