Activision Games Honored At Award Show

Spike TV 'Video Game Awards 2005' Honors Activision's Call of Duty 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and True Crime: New York City.

Santa Monica, CA - November 22, 2005 -- Activision, Inc. announced today that three of its holiday games Call of Duty 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and True Crime: New York City were honored at the Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005" show, held on Friday night at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.

Call of Duty 2 earned "Best Military Game," Tony Hawk's American Wasteland was named "Best Individual Sports Game" and True Crime: New York City's Traci Lords and Christopher Walken were honored in the "Best Supporting Female Performance" and "Best Supporting Male Performance" categories for their roles in the gritty urban drama.

The third annual Spike TV "Video Game Awards 2005," hosted by Samuel L. Jackson will premiere on Spike TV on Saturday, December 10 from 9:00-11:00 PM ET/PT.
